Well, yesterday I took a step back from hardcore raiding and will no longer be on the cutting edge of gear, kills, or progression. I find that my recent move, along with my real life, leave me with inadequate time to commit to a solid raiding schedule. I have left my guild, The Seventh Circle on Malfurion, with a very heavy heart. I still remember moving to Malfurion from Garona when the realm opened with the goal of making an endgame raiding guild and being successful. Two guild creations later, we had done just that! The Seventh Circle was pushing through content with the best of the best.
In addition to leaving the guild, I have left the server as well. I joined a friend on Earthen Ring who runs a very casual raiding guild with real life friends. I look forward to many new adventures with them. But what does that mean for this blog?!
Well never you fear! Much of what I do here doesn't even require a subscription to WoW. You can expect me to continue looking at Balance Druids and theorycrafting. However you might find posts on less mathematical things every once in a blue moon too. I am currently looking at the Twisting rotation for the next patch and when I have something reasonable to say, I'll write it down for y'all!

Grats on your transfer. Once upon a time I considered hardcore raiding, but realized that any guild I considered transferring to required almost as many hours as raiding as my job requires I work.
I didn't think I could successfully juggle work, school, blogging, and some sort of social life, so I'm glad I only have 12 hours of raiding a week to deal with.
